Life
I've been practicing law since 1979. After 17 years in Tallahassee, I came home to the Keys to open my own private practice on Sumerland Key at mm 25. My wife, Susan, works with me as a paralegal. We have 2 kids, Evan (10) and Gwendolyn (8). They go to Sugarloaf Elementary. By my first marriage, I have a daughter, Paige (26), who works in Wash, D.C. s and in athletics for the kids. We live on Big Pine in the wildlife refuge near the Blue Hole.
I am saddened to report that my mother, Virginia Rohe-Herron, passed away on February 6th at age 96. We had a life ceremony for her in Apalachicola where she had been living since 1996. She remained independent and active, living on her own, right up until 2 months before her death. My mother was a language teacher at CSHS from 1963 until 1976. Many CSHS alumnae will remember her.
