Lee's Story
Willard
and other interested Persons,
I went to Behrend Center upon graduation, did rather poorly and entered
the job market. Worked at Cooks' Market at 12th and Powell avenue, then
Peach and Cherry. After 3+ years I realized that this was not leading
to where I wanted to go in life. I entered the Turfgrass Management
Class (two year) at the main campus , graduated and went to work at
Kahkwa Club as the Assistant Superintendent. After a year at K.C. I and

Course Superintendent at Washington Golf and C.C. where I remained fo 37 years.
I and My wife Rita (Wurst) had Four boys and now have 10 Grandchildren. Celebrated our 50th in May. There you have my life history in less than 150 words. If you read this you must do the same for me. What has your life been like
in 150 words.We are retired and live in the Shenandoah Valley. I have
attended all the class reunions but the 15th and enjoyed seeing old
classmates, old faces and sharing with some of them.
