Life Today I live in a house on Padre Island with my husband and youngest child , Jill. I ended up spending my life with the horses , though now I am mainly involved with race horses, both Quarter Horse and Thoroughbreds in Texas , Oklahoma and Louisiana , I'll still show a horse sometimes when I have a mind too , but all of my kids did other things than horses. My kids were and are everything from surfers to musicians to beauty queens and everything in between .They are all almost gone from home now, and when the last one is on their own I plan to alternately rest and party I think lololol! I will still get up and go to a concert whether it is classic or modern rock although I like classic best ,I'll be 95 and still be going to see Bad Co., Ozzy or Aerosmith but I do like classic country too, other than that I just pretty much hang around the farm and talk to the chickens . Update March 2006, Well, due to health reasons, I have had to move off my farm,it was very tough to give up all the horses but one and leave. It represented not just 25 years of hard work on my own , but a 43 year lifetime of wonderful friends, trainers horses ,big wins and big losses..... I know some of you who rode and competed with me at different times ,or just those of you who knew me well ,who are reading this know what I mean .I am now living in Port Aransas which is wonderful in itself, I have lived here on and off all during my adult life and spe...Expand for more
