Leena Milligan-Lanteigne:  

Leena, aka Kathleen/Kathy/Kath, is originally from Hastings, Nebraska and spent most of her life in Northern VA. After a HUGE mistake of a first marriage, she happily married her husband Jim in 1999. She has two grown daughters and two young grandchildren. After graduating from James Robinson Secondary School in 1976, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, majoring in Administration of Justice & Public Safety (Police Science). She has worked as a lifeguard and a bartender (not at the same time, although it's not a bad idea), with her local sheriff's office, with the federal government (USDA and NAVSEA), local government (Family Services) and private industry as a Quality Assurance Specialist for an ISO/QS 9000 accreditor, concentrating in automotive manufacturing. In between, she kept busy raising her daughters and doing volunteer work. Never meant to be a paper pusher and having been told one too many times that she'd missed her calling, she started her own business refinishing furniture, creating artwork and selling vintage items. This allows her wanderlust and creativity to soar as she travels a variety of areas looking for the sad and forgotten in order to jazz them up and give them a new lease on life and to mix different mediums to create original works.
