Leilani's Story

After being in the Air Force for 20 1/2 years, retiring as an E-7 has enabled me to travel. Liz Gilgenbach is the one that talked to me about joining the Air Force. I am glad I did. My hands on training that I received enabled me to teach others. My specialty was dealing with the Air Force Aircrews throughout my career. was the sister-in-law. While in the Air Force, I ended up getting my "Ticket" for "Ham", in other words, I am an amateur radio operator. I am now am rated as an Extra Class licensed ham operator. Which is the tops for licensed hams. I am also a cancer survivor. I had skin cancer surgery back in 1978. My updated photo came about thanks to being honored for being a Veteran at Allegany County Legislator meeting. If you want to know more, just ask.
