Carl's Story
Life
We have left the big city and are enjoying the more rual life style now. We relocated to Placerville in 2001 and we should have done it 10 years ago when I was retired from the police department. Since our daughter lives in San Diego and our son lives in Denver, we had no ties to Silicon Valley so we left.

e a wood working business. We both stay busy, but we can go when we want (most of the time).
Life is slow and laid back up here on the hill. We are above the fog line, but belwow the snow line. The people here are so friendly. Yet we are only a half hour from the big city and 1 hour from Lake Tahoe. Just the right spot. Any time you are in the Placerville area, give us a call (we're in the book) and spend a few minutes and enjoy.
