Nobody could beat you in the motherhood test
Because as a mother you were the best.
The last time we saw you we knew
That your fight till the end was almost through.
Ten long years you dealt with the pain
That you suffer no longer is our only gain.
Someday we hope that they find a cure
So no other children have to endure.
The hurt and the anger of watching in vain
Knowing that nothing they do can end the pain.
