Lenny Grossman:  

Life is interesting. Out of high school I went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. It was strictly an acting school and I didn't like it too much. I wanted a more well-rounded education so I went to Oneonta State University and finished up with a degree in theater. I also met my lovely wife, Joanne at Oneonta. We spent a few years in NYC hating it and then lived in Chicago for 11 years. We loved Chicago. I was an actor for about 9 years, but never broke through to a point where I could make a living at it. In my young 30's I went back to school and got my Master's in Literature at DePaul University. Joanne and I had our first child, Genevieve and then moved to the Philadelphia area. We had a second child, Gillian. I've moved from job to job, trying to figure out what to do. The last 5 years I've been the membership director at our local YMCA. It's a pretty good job. It's a lot of fun, a ton of work, but the pay isn't that great. ...Expand for more
