Leo's Story
After High School I had to grow up pretty fast. I got married and then got divorced and became a single father. That was the turning point in my life. Raising a kid on your own is no joke. Luckly I had some help from some friends like Tanya, and my mother. At that point I had to become a man in order to provide for my son. I later met the woman that is now my wife. She showed me a different way to look at things in life. She kept me strong and gave me hope. But most important of all, she never left my side. Hard times came and went, and we faced them together. She loved and has helped me raise my son as if he was her own. We then got married and started a new family. We then had a beautiful son (yeah, another one). For some reason I only make boys.
You could say that I had a pretty hard life after High School,...Expand for more
and had to really work hard at making something of myself. I went back to school and took a course in legal assisting at City College, but didn't go to work in the legal field right away. I actually worked as a Mortgage Broker for 8 years, and had the oportunity to work for a lot of fortune five hundred companies such as, Countrywide, WAMU, Ace Mortgage, and Fifth Third Bank. Once the real estate market crashed I decided to go to work into the legal field, and today work as a Legal Assistant for the Foreclosure Defense Law Center with attorney Lee Friedland.
It sure has been a real tough journey but it was all worth it. Today I have a great job at a lawfirm and I'm also the father of two wondeful boys and have a beautiful family. I was just hoping to see some old friends in here, and see how everyone has been.
