Leonard's Story

Life Born in S.F. Married in 1955. 4 children. All grown and married. 7 Grandchildren. In good health. Enjoy music, movies, walking, traveling and painting and drawing. Enjoy Giant Baseball season. Season ticket holder. Playing organ in church occassionally after 50 years of church organ playing. Live in San Mateo, CA now and we love it. Like to take trains to SF. School Enjoyed being a student at Balboa. I enjoyed the choir, the music classes, and the good friends I made that I have continued to see for the past 59 years. Wow! ay. Bob Ehm and Bill Dose College The San Francisco Conservatory was a small school when I attended from 1946 to 1950. I still see one of my classmates who lives near me. She no longer plays piano. I also see one teacher who is still living. Workplace I worked for the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department for 29 years. I have been retired 17 years. I made many wonderful friends many of whom I still see. Military I was assigned to the Eighth Army Headquarters in Yokohama, Chaplain section for one year in 45-46. I have no contact with anyone from my unit today.
