Leonard's Story

Life I entered USArmy after school, travelled all over Europe, married Swedish Girl, entered FSC and UC Berkeley, BA.MA,MPH Psych/Public Health Major.Divorced remarried three children. CEO of mental health corp in SF. Tennis, gym rat. Want to connect with old school chums. I am an accomplished saxophone player as an avocation play and instruct Jazz Specialty Alto/Tenor Sax, partially retired . Now married to Gloria Spurgeon-Smith. Gloria was a dancer with Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham she teaches modern dance to young students, I teach woodwinds to young students and play Jazz gigs in town.. 2 Daughters -Christine, Melissa and 1 Son DJ (Django) 3 grandchildren. Love my life I always wanted to be a musician when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was an unrealistic idea. As it turns out, they were sort of right. PLAYING SAX ALSO REPAIR HORNS IN MY STUDIO AND GIVE LESSONS... LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT REUNION. ALTHOUGH I ATTENDED FHS 3 YRS--I GRAD FROM SAN J MEMORIAL 1954. UPDATE MOM PASSED AT 93 IN 2011. FUNERAL WAS IN FRESNO STILL LOOKING FOR OLD PALS JANNA (IN PIC AT BIMBOS), SUE SIMMONS, CHECK OUT MY ALBUM FAMILY FRIENDS AND WEDDING. would like to know how many of us are still here..... love LEN Found out Sue passed if anyone knows more about her passing please let me know. Also close buddy Bill Pieper passed on Jan 7, 2012 will miss him very much.
