Leota's Story

Life Well, I have been asked to put in my bio, not to much to say. Right after high school I got married. (Married tooo young) Anyway, that's water under the bridge. I was married for 28 years and I have been a widow for eleven years. I have four grown children, two boys and two girls and they have all given me grandchildren, fourteen at last count. I worked for LAUSD for 20 years, which I'm now retirer from and taking care of my granchildren, which give me joy. My leisure time is going to Vegas and visting my family in New Mexico. The computer is my best friend and I enjoy doing nothing. I just take life one day at a time and be graceful that I can do it. Well, I think that is it, not an exciting life, but a journey, we live and learn from our mistakes or experience. An update: As of now, I will be keeping you inform of coming reunions. be added that is fine, so please sent your info to me. I will be doing all communication by e-mail and phone calls. If any other classmates would like to be added to the date base that is fine. As we get older, there are less classmates attending reunions. The Class of '66 will be holding two annual get togethers - June for an All-Class Picnic and August for The Taste in San Pedro. They are both easy on the pocketbook. 5/31/2021 UPDATE: Classmates are asking went is the next reunion? Well, I guess we better start thinking of having one. Make plans for next year and by then we can all party hard. :) I'm thinking for the Class of '66, but what about an all-class reunion and maybe something simple. Since our classes are getting small with health issues and getting OLDER. Or should I just say getting younger at HEART. Also most of us are on a BUDGET. Give me your input and also help in the planning. Thank you Classmates
