Leroy's Story
how far back should i go to start to let people what has happen so far in my life for i was told that i should write my life story.loli got out of the army on xmas eve of 1968 for i have spent the last 28 months in germany,i have to add that i have had a fun time ,for went to other countrys over there and seen lots of nice cities and they seemed to me like it was going back in time for the were so far be hind the times ,was there over year befor i seen a farm tractor and to me that was just strange.the streets in the towns or cities were layed stone,there was one part i didn't like was i had to fly there and back, would never fly again for any reason.now am home out of the army and tried working at feed mill but could not take the outside work in the cold ,second job was making mobil homes at selinsgrove and then i started to remolding homes for more money for one hundred twenty dollars a week was not what i needed to pay the bills for now am married .three years after out of the army and now have went in to the army national guard, at my first summer camp at camp drum new york,i had to ride in personnel carrier and never rode in one befor and this is one of my bad thoughts about the arm services for they trained me in fort jackson sc to be a cook and when plane lands in germany i become a tanker and this is why there is body bags filled in the so called safe zones. ant way back to new york while riding in back of carrier a fifty cal. machine hit a tree and came around and hit my head and i woke up in hospital at camp drum and now the real story is am trying to get the va to comp for my control on my brain to balance when i walk is detearating and was told could not do any thing just go home. lets go back to germany in aug of 66 was in tanks for three weeks and my tank came in from the range and the third highest score in the fourth AD. two weeks there was got up at three in morning and go to load the 105 and the 7.62 machine was my job ,back to my climbing up on my tank we had flags to let people that the tank was going to fire, i checked and my tank had red flag posted and the next tank had yellow flag so i started to clim on my tank just about on both tanks sho...Expand for more
t there 105 and just about blow me off the tank and for three days could not hear and when hearing came back and had ear ringing since that day for over forty years now for have to take sleeping pills in order to get any sleep,was not this bad while working but have been disabled for last nine years for i had this back problem since was a kid and from the doctor i had went to while i was working. now lets go back to summer of 73 when got back from new york , i quit the guard and went and got second full time job at dorsey trailers just north of selingrove,now and making mobil homes from six in the morning till three thirty aftrnoons ,then had half hour to get to second job and was never late did this till i got married for the second time three years that build my own home and was married for twenty eight years when i had found out that she was laying fork lift driver where she had worked for twelve years befor i found out , so you see my life has not been going as it should for in 2005 my son to first wife had ripped me off for he had his truck and was making good money for he was picking up his check every week and i got couple bucks and he would call me when truck need work on out on the road i didn't mined until he had barrowed may new lawn tractor and had got my to put him on my checking acct, this was to be abled to get the money if something happen to me and he and the lady at the bank was in on it for he turn around and took out all money i had for the taxes that year and i didn't have the money to go after him for the money he owes me i have all the paper work on all. now it is 2008 in june i get paper work from the court house saying they were going to sell my home in order to pay the cretid cards that i was noy abled to pay on from my ssi was not that much ,finaly in dec. the bank loan me thirty thousand dollars to pay the credit cards,now all i have to do is live for fifteen more to pay the bank off. for they would not give me life ins on the loan. so you see my life is full and if any one would like to be a friend,better things to do they worried ,this is not all or the part of what i have goned thru but this is idea. ps this is not fictional,Leroy
