Leroy's Story
I Have had an interesting ride through life so far. After high school, I attended Tuskegee Institute (university). After graduation, I joined the Peace Corps and spent 2 years in the Philippines. From that experience, i went back to Tuskegee and worked in the poverty programs of the Johnson's Great Society. I then went on to graduate school at Indiana University where I completed my masters and doctorate in adult and continuing education. professor at Virginia Politechnic Institute and State University (VPI). After 25 years of that, I retired and went into financial planning with Waddell & Reed and am now with Raymond James as a financial advisor. I have been happily married for 41 years to my lovely bride, Johnnie Harris Miles, a graduate of Rust College, Tuskegee Institute and Auburn University where she obtained her doctorate. We have two sons and 5 grandchildren. What a wonderful ride. I encourage all to take care of your present and future financial needs. And through it all, keep your spiritual life focused.
