Les's Story

Life My Spouse I met my first wife Beatrice Toole in PCHS, and dated her for 2 years prior to us getting married. We got divorced in 1986 and I was remarried to a woman I met while stationed in GA. We never had any kids. My Pets I got 2 cats. They are our kids now. My Kids They have grown into productive adults. My daughter is 28, and is due to give us our 4th grandchild this Dec. We are proud parents and grandparents. My daughter is a hapy home maker living in Winterhaven with her husband and kids. My son is living and working here in Faytteville, NC with our company. We all travel back to Florida from time to time to see my mother who still lives in PC, and the other family and friends in the area. Military I joined the Army in 1980 and went to Ft. antry soldier, and was stationed with C Co. 3/325th Airborne Infantry company at Ft. Bragg, NC with the 82d Airborne Division. I was involved in the first wave of soldiers to arrive on the island of Grenada in 1983. I re-enlisted after completing 4 years in that unit. I changed jobs and learned to work on large main frame computer systems instead of killing people for a living. I did that job for 3 more years and during that time we opened a small store front working on consumer electronics. I left the military in 1988 with the rank of Sgt. The electronics store took a crap and died in 1990, and that is when we decided to change gears and started doing Government supply contracts. We have been involved with this type of work ever since. Its almost as if we never left the military. Very enjoyable.
