Les's Story

I'm married. You wouldn't know her, she's from out of town...LOL I'm a carded journeyman millwright. It's what I do for a living. I've been a truck driver, soldier, reforrester, and a bunch of other stuff. If I'm going to work somewhere I need to have a lunchbox, thermos and tools to be able to make it day to day. Ask my wife and she'd chime in and my cell phone too so she can interrupt it like clockwork...LOL I always wanted to be an animator for Disney when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a pipe dream. As it turns out, they were right, so far....but it's not over yet...LOL. My hobbies include the SCA, a midevil reinactment society. I dress in armor and beat other folks also dressed in armor with big sticks. Kind of like getting hit with a, baseball bat....no big deal. I still draw to pass time. When I have the rare opportunity to 'pass time'. The wildest thing I ever did in school was to take my hunting rifle onto the bus with me, like all my other buddies did....and leave it th...Expand for more
ere so we could hunt on our way home from school. Now adays, that would be a big mistake, even if it was commonplace when we were kids.... While I was in the army, I lived in North Carolina and California. I lived in Portland because there was work up there. Moved back to New Mexico because there was work there. Came back to Roseburg because I met Mrs. Davis and she didn't want to move to me. The biggest suprise in my life was when I met my wife in Crecent City California. She actually lived in Roseburg....I lived in Portland, traveled all the way down there for war, met her, and ended up moving back here again. If I had a teacher I'd love to see again it would be my sixth grade teacher, Mr. Bjelland. Looking back, I realize he actually believed in me. To be truly happy, I'd be with Mrs. Davis, camping out at an SCA event. You know what would suprise everyone at Douglas and Roseburg Highs? I no longer have an underbite!!! I hope old friends will remember me. It would be very nice to hear from you.
