I still in the Bay Area, just over the hill from Fremont. Stayed here because my kids were born here -- I married Karen Lindbloom, also from Kennedy -- and didn't want them to move out of the area. Eventually raised them as single father. Wow, four kids to raise by myself. Was very difficult. I did follow my high school dream, which was to be a journalist. After raising my children, went to college, majored in what else, journalism, minor in political science. Reached the pinnacle of my profession when I became editor of a small daily. Unfortunately, not all things work out for the best. Late last year, I was diagnosed with very rare and fatal cancer. Lucky me, tumor was found behind right eye, on the tear gland.
