Les's Story
After I graduated from High School in 1970 I spent some time traveling, some time in college, and two years in service. After completing that, life started again and I met and married my first beautiful wife, Beckie. During the 70's we pushed the envelope a lot and ended up the decade having gone to as many or more funerals than weddings, and having our marriage end. During the 80's I worked in health care clinically and in management and completed three college degrees. as good! In 2000 my wife was diagnosed with cancer which was supposed to be at a stage that was eminently treatable. For two years every thing was fine. Then during an emergency room visit xrays taken showed Brenda's spine glowing and further tests showed she had untreatable bone cancer from the eminently treatable cancer. My wife died in 2004 months after our granddaughter, Nicole Taylor, was born. Yet, Life is still good. I am still working, raising my 13 year old daughter, and finding out how many women our ages are reluctant to date a man with a young child. All and all just tag me happy to be alive!
