Leslee's Story
It has been an exciting life filled with adventure. Married in 1972 and lived in Camrose for 14 years . Finished my undergrad BSc in Biology/Psychology during this time. Worked misc medical and dental positions in Camrose while designing and building our home. We backpacked around the world in 1978...what an experience! .Marriage lasted 17 years...no children. Then the fun started. I moved back to Edmonton and went back to University. Completed an MSc in Textile Design. Worked as a starving artist for a year before going into real estate. In 2004 I went on safari to Kenya and Tanzania. This changed my life. I came back with a vision of doing something to 'make a difference' and started ...Expand for more
a community development project in Kenya. This continued over 10 years while I did real estate part time. With 8 returned trips to Kenya,during which I raised money and worked with the locals in the building of a school, a medical clinic, hall, rain water catchment systems, improve agriculture etc. This expanded to a second village area. Ballroom dancing has become a passion, gardening, animals, and anything creative And so it goes....who knows what is next. No partner in my life right now......but in the meantime ....life is good!
2013 ; Now a retired Realtor living in Costa Rica half time. Love it!.
2020: COVID-19 means I have been 'stuck' here for 16 months...not a bad place to be.
