Lesley's Story
Life
Well, where do I start. I left Glenwood Elementary School at the age of 11yrs (1979) to move back to Great Britain (Wales) with my mum and my sister Susan. I lived in Maple Ridge between 1975 and 1979. My house was in Forest Place.
The education system is different here and I left school at the age of nearly 19yrs to start work.
I have worked for my local government office for the past 18 years in a variety of jobs, all related to Finance and Information Technology (IT). I am currently working in IT Project Management for Cardiff Council, helping to implement a system c...Expand for more
alled SAP. It is a very challenging job, but also very rewarding.
I am single and do not have any children but I enjoy life to the full and love travelling. Being so close to other parts of Europe, I have visited a number of European countries, but I also love to visit Canada, where my dad still lives (in Peachland, Okanagon to be exact!).
I would love to get in touch with anyone who was in school the same time as me, particularly Chrissie Baker, who was my best friend as a child, but with whom I sadly lost touch with a number of years ago.
