Lesley's Story
I went to UC Berkeley, got a degree in linguistics, then went to Cal State Hayward and got a degree in speech pathology. Got married in between the degrees. Had 2 kids (one in 1985, one in 1988), bought a house, added onto the house doing most of the work ourselves, and began substitute teaching....Expand for more
I taught middle school full-time while earning my credential (I don't advise that), and have been teaching ever since. Now I can't wait to retire, but that won't be happening soon. I live in San Leandro, like to attend Oakland A's games, go camping, read, knit, cook, and hang out with friends.
