Leslie's Story
Wow. Where do I start. I am not the person I used to be. Since high school, I have been on a very rough journey and a terrible downward spiral up until about a year ago. I got saved. I found Jesus! He's a pretty cool dude and I live for Him now. I have joined a discipleship program all the way down here in Mission, Texas (at the border of Texas and Mexico). I actually live in a church and intern here. I know it sounds crazy, but it really isn't! My church is called Palm Valley Church (there are many palm trees in the area) and most everyone here is of Me...Expand for more
xican decent unless they are here for work or a missionary. Palm Valley church has dorms (of course, I live here) and it is a church with about 2000 in attendance weekly. We are a non denominational church that loves God and loves others. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I went for the month of August to Guatemala and shared that love at an orphanage. I hope to get my credentials through Berean University to be a "certified minister" with the Assemblies of God, although I put very little emphasis on denomination, if any at all! God rocks. Peace!
