Leslie's Story
At 70 (how did I get here!!), I have faced many challenges and had many wonderful adventures along the way!
I got a BA (Psych) & an MBA (Marketing) in Nova Scotia then moved to Prince Edward Island with my future husband for 3 years using my skills in the nonprofit area. Back to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1980 to continue a career in advertising, marketing and research. Divorced in 1982. No kids of my own. Got into fitness in my 20s and lost that 'baby'fat and, miraculously, I have kept it off all these years.
Spent 15+ years freelancing - working primarily with women entrepreneurs including co-launching The Halifax Women's Network, a Women in Business group (as well as mentoring) and six years ago helped get a Dress for Success operation off the ground.

d in 2002. Lucky enough to find another gem, re-married in 2006 and moved just outside Halifax on a lake. We have been travelling (my passion).. visiting Europe (Spain, Portugal, Menorca and Mallorca) to name a few. (That photo is from a cruise through the Greek Islands.) Currently, retired. Sailed for many years and had a pontoon boat. We even had a trip to Italy and Croatia. I get down to the Portsmouth area twice a year to see family Brother in Hooksett and cousins in Exeter, NH and more near Denver plus a friend in Manchester from our class of 1970. No one in Andover. I love cooking, interior decorating, fashion, bargain shopping, movies, fine dining, meeting new people and spending winters in warmer climates when I can. Bought a winter place in 2014 in Bonita Springs. Love to hear from any of the old crew :-)
