Leslie's Story
I've been flowing with life as it has presented itself in its many facets. I left Galesburg shortly after graduating from high school. I try to make it back to Galesburg every two years or so as my mother still lives there. As much as it has changed it has remained the same. It's a good place for a complete respite.
I spend my large chunks of free time traveling offshore. I have several destinations that I still want to see. My next trip (either this or next year) will either be Trinidad-Tobago, Brazil, Ghana or Eritrea. Japan or China, New Zealand and Thai...Expand for more
land are also on my short list.
My current job has kept me incredibly busy for the past five years, but I'm getting the itch to change careers or to "perhaps" go into/invest in a business partnership with a friend. It all starts with an idea, a strong business plan and a dedicated course of action. I'm currently investigating my options.
I feel like I'm on the second part of my life and that better things lie infront of me. I'm incredibly comfortable in my skin, outside of the annoying hot flashes. In general life has been good and I welcome the second act.
