Leslie's Story
Life
This is my life right now. I have 3 great children, all grown and successful. My oldest daughter Melanie and her husband live in Virginia at the time of this writing. She has a degree in Social Work and Business Administration from the University of Texas. My second daughter Laura and her husband live in Connecticut. She made me a Grandmother this year with their first born, a boy named Gregory Sebastion. She has an Associates Degree from the University of Texas in Early Childhood Development and a Bachelors Degree from New York University (NYU) majoring in Video Productions. My son Brian is in law enforcement in the U.S. Navy.( Master of Arms.)
I am working at our local Junior College bookstore as an accounting clerk. (It is a cruel joke of the universe that my most significant jobs have been in accounting, considering that I hate math with a passion beyond believe!)

axima at this time. I think I may end up moving to Connecticut though, since that's where my grandchildren will be. I will miss Texas though.
In my spare time I enjoy gathering with friends for bar-b-ques, movies, whatever is fun. I like to read, sew,
work puzzles of all kinds and believe it or not, I love to go to Casinos and play the slots. ( Please, no suggestions about Gamblers Anonymous, I don't get to do this very often.)
I am currently single, but I like it that way for now. I can hardly believe that I am in my fifties now, but I am having so much more fun now than I ever did when I was younger. I wonder how many people besides me are finding this to be true?
I think about my high school years there at Vinton County Consolidated with mixed emotions. I had some good friends there that I stop and think about now and then, and some people that I would never care to see or hear about ever again. I suppose that is true of everyone though....
