Leslie's Story
Moved to the UK in 1986, and I'm still living in Scotland. After a long career as an Art Psychotherapist in the NHS, I retired. Divorced, no kids, but have very good pals; and a house overlooking the North Sea.
I spend my days reading, cooking nice things to eat, to share with my neighbours, being lazy, and watching people go by. But my main hobby is medieval re-enactment (1297 - think 'Braveheart') in castles around and about in Scotland. It's all curtailed at the moment, (writin...Expand for more
g this in April 2021), but I still 'see' my pals on 'Zoom'... and for socially-distanced outdoor visits, when we are allowed. Missing hugs desperately.
I'd LOVE to come back for the 50th reunion this autumn, but am not sure I'll manage it. Too many variables with Covid 19/20/21, and I will judge things closer to the time. But I fear not. Scotland has much stricter rules than the US, when returning from abroad... my motto is "wait and see".
