Leslie's Story
I have been happily married to Paul (Class of 78) for almost 25 years. Paul is a graduate of Auburn University & a bridge structural engineer. We have 2 beautiful children & our daughter Whitney is 23 & is entering her senior year at the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE ROLL) & majoring in Nutrition. Our son Joshua is 19 & has been signed by a modeling agency but not sure what will happen there. He will probably end up in Auburn where his major will possibly be in the Computer field. I consider it such an honor to have been blessed with a wonderful husband & two beautiful children. My cup runneth over. I work as a bookeeper & help out with a catering business. I was able to help out some in the political process this past election & has been a growing passion of mine for quite a few years. I have never been able to help any because my children have always been my priority but now they are grown & will be looking at the empty nest next year. Also, we built a house in 1996 & hopefully will rebuild & downsize in the near future. I have never worked so hard in my life but can say it was...Expand for more
truly worth it & would do it again in a heartbeat. I love the mountains & would love to have a log cabin in the Rocky Mountains as well as a home at Navarre Beach. I plan on attenting a Nascar racing school as well as skydive in the near future. Now that the kids are grown & I do not have to worry about anyone else raising them I can let my hair down & do what I have always wanted to. I really enjoy photography which I have been told by my daughter that I have an addiction but at least it is legal. I am the proud grandmother of my daughter's 3 1/2 lb. min chihuahua Ginger who just turned 1 & hopefully I will be getting my own dog soon. I lost my beloved Jack Russell about a year & half ago to lymphoma and must say it took its toll on me. Opie had helped me forget about all that was going on in my life at the time which was my dad's failing health & my parent's divorce after 48 years. Yes, you heard me correctly. It is so hard to believe that it will be 30 years next year since we graduated. Time does fly. Please let me know if anything that I can do to help with the reunion.
