Leslie's Story
I was married for 41 years, when my husband passed away unexpectly on Sept. 1,2006. My youngest daughter Tamra and her 2 sons live with me and my oldest daughter Tracie ,her husband and daughter and son live in Alamogordo, New Mexico. My four grand kids are Andrew 20,Wesley 12, Ashley 5, and Ryan 3. Andrew and Ryan are the ones living with me. I find life very different being a widow. I played fast and slow pitch until I was 50 and really miss it. Tried rafting on the Rio Grande, but nearly drowned when the raft turned over, am no longer enterest it rafting. I fell off the mountain in Cloudcroft in august,1998. I broke my back,my nose and several ribs and ended up having to stop my nursing career. I am on disabilty, but nothing stops me. I teach 3 year olds in Sunday school, Teach Team Kid with pre-schoolers, help with preschool Missions and do childcare at church.I love camping, swimmi...Expand for more
ng, gardening, playing with my grand kids. I went to the Mall of America in July this year with Tracie, Wiley and the Kids. Walked the entire mall and even rode some rides. Went to a water park and even went down some of the slides. Still am crazy and having fun. Life goes on. Leslie

My first job was at baby sitting, where I got paid 1.00 to watch kids. What I remember most about it is We yhought someone was looking in the window.
It was Shirley Padilla. we met in grade school and we seem to do and like the same things. Sirley,her husband and yioungest came to albuquerque in July She had not been back in 40 years. WE have never lost contact.
I share my home with my daughter,2 grandsons and 2 dogs, which I find very busy.
My current age is 62. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be really old. I was so completely wrong.
