Leslye's Story
I was fortunate enough to be blessed with a daughter, Sonja Renee, May 20, 1965. She lived such a sad little life with a mother that had to work to support her, she married at age 20 and had 5 wonderful, very active boys - they became the focus of our lives. The man Sonja chose to marry was always a loser but after 20 years of marriage Sonja divorced him. She was once again a lost little soul. She befriended several local playing bands (80's music) and was attending one of their concerts on December 30, 2006 at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, CA for some reason God chose to take my little girl back that night. She was found drowned in the bath tub in her room. I miss her every mom...Expand for more
ent of every day. My life is falling apart and I can not seem to get it together, has anyone gone though this that can offer any advice as to how I can want to continue? Her ex-husband took my grandsons and moved to Texas and won't let us even talk to them! Recently he kicked two of them out of the house, they are only 16 and 17, living with friends and my mother and I are trying to help support them - I just want to get them home but I don't know how to without someone going to jail.
I did have a second child, Rhianna Leigh, September 8, 1976 - she now lives in Arizona with her family. We all miss Sonja so much.
I guess I am just trying to find a connection to something to want to go on.
