Lester's Story
Still love to play my guitars and have added bass guitar to my instruments. Hobbies include photography, camping, computers and such. Currently residing in San Diego county and working for the DOD as an Emergency Vehicle Dispatcher for CNRSW San Diego on the graveyard shift. (It makes me feel like a vampire sometimes). So Cal weather is great but you pay through the nose for living here.
My family has a long history in San Diego. My wife and I were married here in 1975 while we were both in the Navy. She got out when we found she was pregnant with our first child. Then we went to Guam and left with two more kids. We then went to Charleston SC and then returned to good old sunny SoCAL in 1985 to ride on the USS Constellation CV-64 for a bit and been in San Diego county ever since. Ended up se...Expand for more

Now all the kids have grown and have given me grandkids, 1 boy and 3 girls. My grandson is the oldest now a big 9 year old. My granddaughters are 7, 3 and 1 1/2 respectfully. They're all great.
My wife passed away in 2006. We were married 31 years. Her departure left a gap and I miss her a lot. We both were Christians (admittedly very carnal ones) and it's great to have that assurance of where she is now. I would have lost it all if I didn't know that. God has always proven Himself faithful. It been rough and I've had plenty of ups and downs (mostly caused by myself) but now my life is starting to move forward again and it's time to start living.
Sorry there are no pictures left of me from school. All destroyed in a fire back in 84.
