Levern's Story
Life
After graduation I attended Porterville College until I graduated in 1983. I then moved to San Jose to attend college in computers. I came home after a year and enlisted in the Air Force. I then came home in july of 85 an married my wonderful wife, Nancy Ellis and we moved to Okinawa japan. I was stationed there for 3 years as a Hydraulics troop and my son Levern III was born in 86. ner Robins Ga and my Daughter Tabbitha was born in Febuary. In August I deployed to Saudi Arabia for desert shield/desert storm and came home in march of 91. I was part of the reduction of forces and came back to Porterville and opened a computer shop until the freeze of 99 hurt us. I then started working at Porterville College in 2000 as a network tech and a part time instructor where I am right now. My wife nancy and I have now been together for 22 years.
