Lew's Story
Lew is from Charleston, West Virginia. Lew's schools include Charleston High School from 1966 thru the spring of 1968. Moved to St. Albans in summer of 1968 due to Interstate relocation. Graduated from St. Albans High School in 1969. Ran Cross Country at both Charleston High School and St. Albans High and Track at CHS.
Lew has been married twice and is currently married to Belinda Boaz Tyree since December 1981. Lew has 6 Children ranging in ages from 20 to 44 years. (Anjanette Brailsford, Lew G. Tyree II (DEC), Kelly Batch, Stephanie L. Tyree, Matthew S Tyree and Andrea E. Tyree. I have 6 grandchildren.

after 31 years in1973. I ended my career as the Commander of the 38th Ordnance Group Ammo with my unit while deployed in Irag/Kuwait.
I retired as House Counsel for the WV Housing Development Fund in December 2011.
I currently live in Charleston, WV at 114 Sheridan Circle with my wife Belinda and continue to serve on the Boards of the Charleston Urban Renewal Authority, Charleston Police Commission, Charleston Area Meals on Wheels, WVSU Steering Committee and volunteer twice a week deliver meals on wheels.
My hobbies include walking, reading, movies, visiting with relatives and friends, history and drawing. I enjoy traveling and my leisure time.
