Lewis's Story
Life
I am now living in Somerville, Ma., and have lived in the Boston area(Brookline,Boston,Cambridge) for exactly 30 years. My parents grew up north of Boston(Chelsea,Winthrop)
but ended up in Syracuse as WWII was ending. My sister Debbie was born in '45, me in '51. I went to Binghamton U.
80 miles south of Syracuse in the turbulent late 60's and somehow survived that, lived in a farming community in the Berkshires next and moved to Cambridge,Ma. in '74 with cousins,aunts,and uncles for some familiarity. usel, food bank orders, and still manage to struggle financially!!
Helping poor and disabled folks get what they need directly doesn't make yu well-to-do, but it hooks yu up with historical characters like Will Rogers (who was he?!)and Paul Robeson(on a postage stamp right in front of me!) I would like to get replies on my e-mail more often besides message-boarding which is o.k. I wrote several e-mails and only got one reply. Please reply, even if I'm not p.c.(I can be interesting, blending past and present).
