Liesa's Story

I moved to Pennsylvania in '95 after following the hubby all over the states, he's a retired Marine and decided to stay. I really love the snow but can do without the ice storms. I miss moving around but am settled in a nice town. It turned out to offer a lot for my family, so I have no regrets leaving the desert. I get back every 2 years to Yuma and find it so commercial, what happened to that town? I know all the PA old folks vacation there! would have thought 30 years ago that I had a knack for computer systems. So, now that the kids are grown and on their own, Hubby and I golf a lot or just hang doing what ever we like. We are also very involved with our local veteran's organization, the Marine Corp League. Volunteerism takes a lot of time but it's well worth it. To anybody reading this. Don't blame the service men or women for the war but show your support when you see one. My son spent 8 years in the Army and did two tours in IRAQ. He didn't like it but you can know that he completed his mission and came home alive. All that with no regrets.
