This has been the most incredible year of my life, at least the last 9 months. My youngest daughter was in a car accident in August and had to be air lifted to Denver we spent two weeks at a critical care unit the first week on deaths door...we prevailed and moved on to an acute facility for 2 weeks then to Craig Rehabilitation Hospital for a month. Jenna is making an incredible recovery we are very blessed. She has taught me more over the last 9 months than at any other time in my life. I had no idea the strength you can find when you think you have none left. Jenna is an amazing individual and has been told by her caregivers she is a miracle. I have always thought that but she has proved over and over in these past months what a true miracle she is. We had prayer circles across the nation and even in foreign countries, never underestimate the power of prayer...it brought both Jenna and I through some very dark days. My children have taught me my greatest lessons in life and I am thankful for both of my girls. They are truly amazing in so many ways. I have the most incredible husband in the world and he has supported me through this very difficult time in so many ways and I am so grateful to have him to share life with...he is my every dream come true and so much more. We have 3 acres in Bayfield just east of Durango CO, we have lived here for 5 years, and we share our home with our two beautiful horses, Leo and Darla. If I was a horse I would want to live here, they are very spoiled. I lived mostly in Denver but spent some time in Grand Junction CO and Gillette Wy.
