Lillian's Story

LILLIAN TAYLOR "I had to learn how to follow great leaders before I could successfully lead!" "My last name says it all! I am a Taylor in life through and through!" I have spent the past 30 years of my career fostering relationships with corporate, legislative, governmental, and local communities, and clients worldwide. Most recently I have been fulfilling my passion in business as a Spiritual Advisor and Life Coach with a global clientelle. I strategically lead and passionately advise my clients simultaneously so they can stay centered on their life's path and manifest their dreams. I was born in Oxford, Enlgand and lived in France, Italy, California and Utah as a child. My career has taken me to such places as Price, Utah; Los Angeles, CA; Omaha, NE; Raleigh, NC; Thayne, WY; Washington, D.C.; Salt Lake City, UT; and Houston, TX. I was appointed and served honorably for six years in a volunteer capacity as a Board of Trustee for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. A $1.3 billion project, ultimately generating a $100 million dollar profit. I have been told my ability to foster relationships with clients and external audiences is second-to-none. I proudly provided oversight and policy for the Human Resources operations as well as serving as a Committee Chair for the 35,000+ volunteer recruitment, and provided a study at the request of Mitt Romney, CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympics insuring the diversity and fair practices of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee (SLOC). My opportunity to develop, organize, implement and manage projects have lent itself to help direct the most successful Olympic Winter Games in the history of the United States. In addition to my 2002 Winter Olympic role as a T...Expand for more
rustee, I have served as a volunteer on several community and national boards as well as an educational policy advisor and administrative support for the past Governor Michael O. Leavitt of Utah. My vast amount of relationship building as well as small business and fund development stems from the leadership positions I have held as an executive director and executive assistant for two non-profit art and educational foundations. I took great joy in developing a mentor program for the state of Utah which was requested to be implemented for out of state school districts. I have the experience of starting-up call centers, managing an educational service center serving four school districts in rural Utah. I trained teachers and principals in technology and helped provide professional and curriculum development for four shcool districts. I also served as the Executive Assistant to Utah's former Congressman James V. Hansen during his first term, and for a prominent Getty Oil Company Coal Mining Executive. Today, I reside with my husband, Jim in Katy, Texas. I attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah late in life. While majoring in Communications and Social Work and raising children. I also attended some classes at the College of Eastern Utah in Price, Utah learning about the Coal Mining Industry. I am the proud mother of four as well as the silly, sweet grandmother of four. My greatest pleasure in life is living in the South with Jim having umbrella drinks on our patio at sunset. I love entertaining my family and friends; especially, doing the "Kitchen Dance" until the late hours of the night. Additionally, I enjoy golfing, bowling, and traveling with my husband and friends from Layton, Utah!
