Phil's Story

Life After SFHS, I relocated to Albuquerque to attend UNM. I was on the extended eight year program going from Fine Arts/painting to nursing. I completed my BSN and worked in Albuquerque specializing in pediatric intensive care. I left Albuquerque in 1989 for Seattle, Washington. I continued with clinical nursing but specialized in adult open heart critical care nursing. The hours were crazy, and I left clinical nursing for case management. Currently I am the Director of Quality Management for a long term acute care hospital in Seattle. I completed my MBA program in 2002. Af...Expand for more
ter that my parner and I adopted a baby girl in 2005. She is a delight and completely puts life into perspective. When not at work or being a dad, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and partner of nine years. Joey, Tori and I go to the Washington and Oregon coast to camp as much as possible. The state parks are incredible. Our next favorite spots are Vancouver, Canada or Kona, Hawaii. Still miss Hatch green chile. There is a women from Espanola who sells true New Mexican food at Pike's Market, but she won't sell the green chile. "I bring it in just for my family."
