Lily's Story
My Life in a nutshell...
I graduated from Little Rock Central High in 1990, after which I attended the University of AR at Little Rock. I went there for about 2 years until meeting my 1st husband, Andy Pierce. We got married in 1994 and had our first son, Zakk, in 1995. I became a stay-at-home-mom a few months after he was born. We then had our 2nd son, Dillon, in 1997.
In 1999, we moved to Memphis, TN (Bartlett, TN) with Andy's job. We then had our 3rd son, Ethan, in 2000. Four years later we finally had our little girl, Summer (2004).
After staying home with my kids for 10 years, I decided to go back to work in 2006 for a number of reasons, including my marriage being on the rocks. I separated from my husband and got divorced a bit later.
Life has been insane since then, so many changes, struggles and joy all mixed up together.

I found out I had stage 2 cervical cancer in July 2007. Had surgery to remove the cancer a few weeks later and, thankfully, have received a clean bill of health.
Got remarried in January of 2008.
Found out I had two ruptured discs in my neck and needed surgery. Lost my job b/c of the surgery on my neck in April of 2008.
Decided to go back to school, after all these years, in August 2008. I am working on my BSCJ (Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice).
Ken and I moved back to Little Rock at the end of May 2009 and are trying to adjust to being here. We are both going to school. Ken has about 2 years left and I have 3 years left.
My husband and kids are amazing. I couldn't ask for more. I am so grateful for everyone I have in my life now AND in the past to make me who I am today!
