Linda's Story

Life My Spouse This is my second marriage and I have been married two great years. I met my husband at a high school where I was teaching. He is also a teacher and a great guy. We love to dance, travel, go to church, listen to the blues and be with our 13 grandchildren. Finally, a good life. We cant wait to retire, get a motor home and drive to Alaska and other parts unknown. My Pets My husband had three cats and a dog. They were pretty old when I met them. But they were great. Smokey, the could say mama. HONEST! The smartest dog I ever met. My Kids They are all terribly successful. My youngest son was a two time all American football player in college. a home building firm. All three of my sons played football. One is also a musician, another is the manager of a casino, and my only daughter is an executive business woman. Sometimes I wonder how I could have such successful kids. Plus they are great to their mom. They have been my life. A joy to me. My Job My youngest son and I started college the same year. He went to Azusa Pacific and I went to University of La Verne. I am an English teacher and do many other things like yearbook, journalism, Red Ribbon Week. I love teaching. I love my students. I teach junior high. Teaching is a dream come true for me. I never thought I would really become a teacher, but here I am teaching and loving it.

Banff, Canada....Mark and l took the cable car to the top of the mountain. Great views. The Bow River heads back onto the mountains and onto a lake. Just beautiful.
