Linda's Story
After high-school I studied Fashion Design. I finished studying at the Art Institute and continued on studying business. I spent many years in the corporate world but I realized that I wanted to get back in design and Jewelry was where I wanted to be so I continued studying through GIA and have several certifications. Along the way I went a bit new agey as I went through some major illnesses with my family and started learning about alternative medicine. No I don't believe that alternative medicine replaces traditional medicine but I do believe that it is a good compliment, and our mind and body need to work in conjunction with each other. ning jewelry. I am still a president of a national medical company but look forward to when I can spend my days creating jewelry full time.
I believe that we all need to have fun and so I also belly-dance although as I get older I find myself wanting to do this less and less in public. :) It also helps me to connect with my spiritual side as I am a facilitator for a spititual dance troupe in Richmond. My husband passed away but we were blessed with a wonderful child who is working on his masters and engaged to be married. I am surrounded as I work in my home studio with 3 dogs they are all little thank goodness. My brother lives on the west coast. My mother passed away but my father is still living in York County so I am down there quite often to see him.
