Linda's Story
Living in Rockland County, I'm about an hour away from Maspeth. I've had 3 children who are now adults, and I'm even a grandma of 5. Yes I did marry Harvey Rubenstein. We were married for 38 years. He passed away in 2010. After working in Manhattan for several years for a carpet manufacturer, we moved up to Rockland. I have been working for Leader Carpet in Nanuet for over 30 years. A few years ago I met Mrs. Mandel and Mrs. Friedland. I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me and hopefully I'll remember...Expand for more

I always wanted to be a teacher. My family thought I should be a secretary instead.

Some time has passed and I am now a grandmother to 3 boys and two girls. They are all great. I have since lost my husband, he passed away on May 30th of 2010. It's been very strange and difficult trying to carry on as usual. I haven't been on classmates for a long time.
