Linda's Story
Life
I graduated from Northwest College in 1969 with an A.A. degree in Religion. In 1970 I graduated from Seattle Community College with my L.P.N. degree. I married Steven Long, from Richland, WA, in August 1970. We pastored churches in Oregon and Washington until 1981 when we became missionaries to the Philippines. We have two sons. as worked at Starbucks for 15 years. Kris is single and lives with us in MO. We are still under Foreign Missions appointment but we are based out of Springfield, Missouri where we moved to in June 2004. We minister through a worldwide correspondence Bible Colleg, Global University. We are training pastors and workers in over 180 countries in 126 languages. We love it. We were able to buy our first home ever and that was a great feeling. No plans to retire very soon - still going strong.
