ANOTHER UPDATE: Moved to Cincinnati, OH this summer (June 2014) to be closer to my sister and her family. Will be teaching Reading PT at a Catholic school about 17 miles from my house. My son Sean moved with me and trying to get him into a group home. Hope to make it to the September 2015 class reunion. UPDATE: I'm now living in Show Low, AZ in the White Mountains. It's very beautiful and the climate is great. I came out in Aug. of 2009 to work as a Reading Specialist at the American Indian Christian Mission. It's primarily Apache kids and a few Navajo. Funding for the school dropped drastically so they had to let many of us go. I just got a job with the AZ Baptist Children's Services. I will be an In-Home Services Specialist - social worker. I will go see parents and klids and help with parenting skills, budgeting, housekeeping, etc. I will also teach some parenting classes and probably do some counseling with some of the children. I got a Masters in Counseling in 1998. Sean, my son, is still with me and lives in a group home here in Show Low. I still bring him home 2 weekends a month.
