Life
Happy 60th birthday to all my fellow Excelsior Pilots....Class of '71!!! It's been a fun life, and I remember you all fondly. I'll be getting together with Dorothy Mundy Krause so that we can celebrate our birthdays. She lives in Dallas, and I'm in Houston, so we are able to visit. Louie and I are celebrating turning 60 by traveling..We have loved traveling all over the globe..........we just returned from The Cove, Atlantis, Bahamas. We are going to meet Dorothy Mundy & Pete in New Orleans in April; Hawaii in June for our 37th wedding anniversary; Rome, Italy in September, Walt Disney World in Oct for the annual Epcot Food & Wine Festival, and a Christmas trip to Walt Disney World the day after Thanksgiving. Hope you all celebrate being 60 years young in some fabulous way, surrounded by love, laughter and all things that bring you happiness!! After graduation I left Norwalk to attend Stanford University, in Palo Alto, CA. It was a great four years. I started dating Louie Montoya, who lived in the same all Frosh dorm where I lived. Stanford. We live in Houston, TX. We have been married since June of 1976. We have three daughters, Lane, born in '84; Mari-Ann - born in '86, and Christina - born in '88. We also have two granddaughters, Cecilia - born in 2005; and Madeline - born in 2010, who are the light of our lives! We have two cats (Evie and Naboo), and one dog (Domino). We lived in Corpus Christi, TX for 13 years prior to moving to Houston. We have lived in Tulsa, OK; Sacramento, CA; Atlanta, GA; Portland, OR; San Mateo, CA; and Palo Alto, CA. My husband used to work for IBM, so we moved all around the country. He is a Vice President of a national corporation, headquartered in Houston. I am a published author and consult for non-profits; volunteer in the community and at church; active in politics, and love baseball. Still a die hard Dodger fan. We also love the Rockets and Texans.
We enjoy traveling around the world, but prefer anywhere with a beach, and Margaritas!
