Linda's Story
Life
I have been married to the same man since 1973.. We have 3 great children. Our daughter, Kirsten is an attorney in Boston, Ma. My son Nicholas and wife Andie have two beautiful children. Liam 8 and Giselle 6. He is an Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer and works for Laboratory for Atmospheric Space and Physics at the University of Colorado. He is currently working on the joint Mars mission with the United Arab Emirates and travels to Dubai and Japan regularly. . My youngest son Adam, also works for the University of Colorado. . He is married with one daughter, Twyla who is 3. My husband and I love to travel and run a business involving industrial valves, flow meters etc. My husband is German and we try to visit his relatives whenever we can. orthern Germany, just west of Berlin. I am an active volunteer for many community projects and enjoy "giving back" whenever I can. In our spare time, we love to hike, camp, garden and enjoy our neighbors and friends.
We are avid card players and enjoy an evening playing Hearts, Spades, or "Hand and Foot" (a form of Canasta) with a nice group of our friends. We both love to cook, especially since my husband started out running Steak Houses here in Colorado. I met him in Texas, where he was running a restaurant, and we moved to Colorado in 1983. I miss Houston, but also love it here. I would love to get in touch with some old "Brigade Buddies" or anyone I knew "way back then". I am not that hard to locate, I am in the book and have email that is easy to find.
