Linda's Story
Life
I married Ray Deering in 73 (grad 1972). We have wonderful children, Brinda and Christopher. Chris is a 2nd generation Marine. He is stationed in Kaneohe, HI. Ray and I were in the Marines for 22 years. We were stationed in Hi when we had the first reunion for PHS.
Brinda has given us 3 fantastic grandkids that I watch every weekday. Chris was married Aug 2000. And has given us our 4th grandbaby, a boy named Drew. Ray and I do alot of camping, He just bought his dream fifth wheel. We want to camp full time someday. We camp at Pendleton on the beach as much as life will allow us.
We live in Riverside.
Update Sept 05
Ray graduated with his AA in business June of 05, he is going to continue his education in Sept.
Brinda works for the San Bernadino City School Dist. in public relations.
Me, well, I am just loving being a grandma everyday. I also am raising my sister's teenager. And Rays mom lives with us now also.

That is about as much as I can think of that is new for now.
Update April 2008
Ray's mom moved out last year and I am now working at Albertsons grocery store in Riverside as a checker. I still take my grandkids to school in the morning and pick them up from school for their mom. Alexa is in her 6th year of dance and loves it. I love going to watch the shows they put on. Sophia is in her 4th year.
Christopher just picked up Warrent Officer in the USMC and I am so proud of him. He and his wife are going to have their second child in Aug this year but they will all be moving to Okinawa for 3 years. Chris will be going to Afganastan after the move.
We don't have as much time for camping as we would like but it is still a #1 priority when we have $ for the gas to pull the fifth wheel. We are going to Stage Coach in Indio this year for 3 days.
We hope to go to the reunion and see you there.
