Linda's Story
Life
I am still living in Lee's Summit, in fact I am only 3 blocks from the high school. I have not moved from here since I graduated. I have been married twice, divorced once. My husband died in 2013. My son moved back in with me after losing his job. He is currently working as an OATS bus driver in Lee's Summit, Harrisonville, and Belton. I keep busy volunteering at church and robotics at LSHS.
College
I started college in Sept. 1970 at UMKC. After 3 years, I moved to CMSU. I was going to become a high school ...Expand for more
choir director, but quit when it was time for student teaching. I could not afford to quit the job I had to teach. I then lost my enthusiasim to teach. I did go back to Longview and get a two-year degree in Total Quality Assurance. I thought this would help in my job at the time. That piece of paper and a quarter would get me a cup of coffee. I went through the electricians apprentice program at work and did this work from 1991 to 2014 when I decided to retire before being forced to move to the new buildings at Botts,
