Linda's Story
Life
I have lived in Vancouver since Graduation with a stint in California and in the Rockies. I live in the Main Street district of Vancouver and love it here. I have been married and divorced (a few times) and I do not have any children, just lots of nephews and two nieces. I have worked in Accounting/Office Management since I graduated and currently I have my own private clients as well as working full time at an Accounting firm. I keep active doing volunteer work with a couple of Non-Profit groups; I am the President of a Drug Education and Rehab. group called Narconon Vancouver Society; the Treasurer of the Citizen's Commission for Human Rights; and the Communications Secretary for my Church group. I have been a Scientologist since 1973 and do lots of work as a Volunteer Minister. Our motto is "Something can be done about it." I like to swim and walk for excercise and I love to read and cook. West Coast of North America and the Caribbean. I love Bonnaire and Mexico! I have had a happy and interesting life and I am enjoying myself immensely.
School
I had some nice friends in High School and enjoyed some fun times. Although I was on the Academic Slate, my favourite class was my Drama class with Mr. Harrington and I really enjoyed acting in two plays in Grade 12. My fun life started after High School!
College
I did my Business Administration Degree at Night School and then got my Computerized Office Administration Certificate as well. I have done numerous courses on Supervising students, communcation and other fun things. I continually learn new things.
Workplace
Knowing Accounting has allowed me to work in a variety of industries; Real Estate, Property Management, Tourism, Mining, Manufacturing, Accounting firms etc. It has been so much fun. I love to meet new people and this has afforded me the opportunity.
