Life Me Since high school, I've been married twice (1st was 10 years, present marriage is 39 years). We live south of Alto, Texas out in the country on 31 acres of land that my grandfather farmed and ranched. We're surrounded by my cousins. We love it here! I did reforesting (pine tree) several years and, in 2022, turned that work over to my two sons. I haven't done much stained glass in the last few years. My husband, at 86 is a semi-retired attorney! Since 2015, his office has been on the back porch. My desk (I still work as his legal assistant) is in the living room! After high school, I spent 9 months in Lafayette at USL, married my first husband and moved to Champaign, Illinois (3 years); Villa Park and Glen Ellyn, Illinois (Chicago western suburbs-4 yrs.); Houston/Missouri City, Texas (1976-2001); Alto (2001-rest of my life). My current husband and I live pretty quietly these days out here in the country in East Texas. I still love to read--some things never change. Our place is the family gathering place--I'm lovin' it! I stay busy with family, Church (choir, committees), friends. I'm not near as shy as I used to be. Went to Thailand with my sister in November 2011. We met our brother and his girlfriend (now wife) in Bangkok and spent 2 weeks there and at their home in Pattaya. Had a ball and learned lots more to do with fresh foods. Came home with lots of silk custom-made clothes! My Spouse Met in Municipal Court--he was the judge. H...Expand for more
