Linda's Story
Hi Class of 68. Most of you probably do not remember me because I only went to Fremont High School for one year. We moved to Gilroy because of my families business and I graduated from Gilroy High School. It was quite a difference from Fremont High because of being such a small town at that time only 7500 people, but I got use to it and ended up really liking the school. I graduated Gilroy High School on June 14,1968 and married on June 16, 1968. That was quite a weekend!!! I have 3 daughters, Sharon who's 40 years old, Shelley 38, and Kendra 33.I also have 6 grandchildren. I was married for 22 years and then divorced. Shortly after my divorce I met my True Love, Eddie. We moved to S.Lake Tahoe and had a car wash for 3 years and then moved to Reno,NV. an opened up a Auto Detail Business. So basically I raised my daughters then...Expand for more
I went to work. I ran my detail business for 12 years which I really liked doing because I'm kind of a tomboy. In 2004 Eddie and I moved back to Gilroy to be closer to our children and grandchildren.We opened up another Detail business in Gilroy and he runs it. I just recently went to night school and now I have a phlebotomy license. Right now I am taking care of an elderly lady who has the very sad disease of Alzheimers. For fun I love to,Karioke,and at family gatherings I always seem to be the entertainer because I'm always singing,dancing, and telling stories. I love to go watch the SF Giants play and I also love the New York Giants and the Inndianapolis Colts because the Manning brothers are awesome!!!!!Other than that I love spending time with Eddie, we still have good times and lots of laughs after 18 years together!!!!
